# Muware automod: block bad words, invites, and swearing

> Set up Muware automod to delete messages with banned words, Discord invites, or swearing, let trusted people bypass it, and pick a consequence.

Automod deletes bad messages for you. Add your own banned words, block invites, turn on the swear filter, and decide what happens to whoever sent it.

People on the bypass list, the server owner, and bot owners skip it.

## Banned words

```text theme={null}
,automod trigger <word>
,automod triggerlist
```

Add a banned word, or see the ones you've added.

## Invites

```text theme={null}
,automod no_invites true/false
```

Blocks Discord invite links.

## Swearing

```text theme={null}
,automod no_swearing true/false
```

Uses the built-in swear list.

## Bypass

```text theme={null}
,automod bypass add <user or role>
,automod bypass remove <user or role>
,automod bypass list
```

Let certain people or roles skip automod.

## Consequences

```text theme={null}
,automod consequences warn/removeroles/kick/ban/mute/delete
,automod consequences list
```

Pick what happens after the message gets deleted.

```text Example theme={null}
,automod consequences mute
```
