# Run support tickets in your Discord server with Muware

> Set up Muware tickets: post a panel with an open button, pick a staff role and a category for new tickets, and block people from opening them.

Muware tickets let people open their own private channel to talk to staff. You post a panel, set who handles tickets, and pick where they go.

## Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Post the panel">
    ```text theme={null}
    ,ticketpanel <message> <channel>
    ```

    Posts your message with an **open** button. The last thing you type is the channel. The message can use the [embed format](/embeds-and-buttons).

    ```text Example theme={null}
    ,ticketpanel {Support;click open to talk to staff} #support
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the staff role">
    ```text theme={null}
    ,ticketmanager <role>
    ```

    This role can see and handle tickets.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a category">
    ```text theme={null}
    ,ticketcathegory <category id>
    ```

    New tickets show up in this category.

    <Note>
      Yes, it's spelled `ticketcathegory`. That's on purpose. Type it like that.
    </Note>
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Blocking someone

```text theme={null}
,ticketban <user>
```

Stops them from opening tickets. Run it again to let them back in.

## How it works

Someone hits **open** and Muware makes a channel for them. When it's done, hit close and the channel gets deleted a second later.
